Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald

When one thinks of colored gemstones, the Big Three come to mind first. Emeralds, rubies and sapphires have been favorites for thousands of years, and continue to be admired.

 

Ruby, is a symbol of passion and makes an ideal romantic gift. Consumers are drawn to the lush color because it signifies wealth and success. Ruby is the birthstone for July and the gem for the 15th and 40th year anniversaries.

 

Emerald, as the gem of spring, is the perfect choice as the birthstone of May. It is also the gem of the 20th and 35th wedding anniversaries.

 

Sapphire has been associated with royalty and romance. Sapphire is the birthstone of September, and the gem of the 5th and 45th wedding anniversaries.
